About DML Publications

All DML publications are intended for performance and are very precise. Comprehensive left hand fingering is included along with analysis of why it was chosen. Right hand fingering is notated whenever necessary and especially in pieces where it is crucial to performance as in some of the Preludes by Simon James. We do not use tablature and you will find none here, the three volumes of The Art Of Accompaniment On The Guitar give all the necessary guidance and instruction to make these scores perfectly comprehensible to anyone who is not experienced enough to deal with a guitar score unassisted. They also give considerable insight for composers and arrangers who are not themselves guitarists on how to approach writing for guitar.
